Toggle

Wild Crane by Ye Yongqing

Ye Yongqing focuses on the personal talent of artists. In his opinion, random sketches are most personal like signatures. He zooms out sketches and paint it with dots. Complicated and time-consuming techniques are used to emphasize simple things, to change the quality of the original picture. The essence of art is revealed from a unique way. The painting is about a walking crane, with utter simplicity and subtlety.

Ye Yongqing, born in Kunming, Yunan in 1958, graduated from Sichuan Fine Art Institute in 1982 and has been teaching there. He is one of the representatives of 85 New Trend, living in Beijing and Dali. He is also the art supervisor of China Modern Art Institute.
